| 08-04-2007 | when yesterdays hot albie zone went away.... we went looking down the beach.. we found kelps w/ good yellows and dorado. sadly they didn't bite, maybe a time of day thing. lots of new fish moving into the area |
| 08-03-2007 | another brutual day.....we saw an un-godly amount of albies today. jumpers everywhere good schools on machines for not much....but tomorrow is a new day |
| 07-31-2007 | we had a much better day today....they acted like albacore again. several jigstops and baitfish. we ended the day w/ 21 albies and 1 quality yellow |
| 07-29-2007 | today was brutal...we stopped on prob a sozen albacore meter marks for nothing.....found several kelps loaded w/ yellows and couldn't manage a bite....def. not our day |
| 07-28-2007 | looks like we may be in our transition phase...water is warming up everywhere..saw 6-8 good schools today and couldn't even get a repsonse w/ good anchovies. 2 albies, 2 yellows |

| 07-24-2007 | we ran into the best bitting school of the year today. it was in the corner chewing for 15 mins. we had 18 anglers most of which had never seen the ocean the ocean before. it was finesse fishing, anchovy and light line. we ended up w/ 38 albies in amazing weather close to home again. |
| 07-22-2007 | the albies were back to their usual weird selfs...saw lots of fish both days but bitters were tough to come by...weather is outstanding...we had 59 for our trip |
| 07-22-2007 | fishing was much better today....the hot ticket was a 2 oz torpedo and a lively anchovy...only 8 of our 10 anglers were fishing and we ended up w/ 34 fish w/ in sight of the coronados.....weather is excellent |

| 07-17-2007 | hey gang...today was a tough one....we had 15 knots of breeze all day long and a little swell. our group were a bunch of novices. they hung tough at the rail all day....we saw decent signs of fish but none that wanted to co-operate with us. we neded up w/ 9 albies and 2 yellows |
| 07-16-2007 | hey gang, we just got in from a 1.5 trip. more of the same from this week. unless you were in the right spot for that short window you struggled. luckily in late afternoon we found a willing school. we ended up w/ 15 albies out of it. this was new fish as well all 12-18lbers. we totaled 28 for our 13 peeps |
| 07-10-2007 | Hey gang....we had an interesting day. we had a complete novice group some of which had never been on the ocean. we ran into a spot of breaking bluefin. we probably hooked 25 fish to get 7. not bad for 1st time rent-rodders. big fish was around 50lbs. we lost 2 larger fish of at least 70lbs after long battles. we also managed to scratch out 25 quality albies for a nice day of fishing to go along with amazing weather |
| 07-09-2007 | hey gang...we just got in this am from 1.5 trip. we saw a vast amount of fish but they weren't on the bite. we managed to scratch 33 quality labacore in flat calm weather. we're back out tonight and will have another update soon... |
